Audiobook CTAs Added
Adding audiobook CTAs to The Principles of MESLO landing page.
Today, the The Principles of MESLO: The Art & Science of an Estimate audiobook went live on Spotify and Audible. I was ecstatic when I received the alerts that the audiobook was live.
I spent the early afternoon adding two new calls to action (CTAs) to the book’s landing page, giving visitors direct access to the audiobook on Spotify and Audible.
For someone who prefers listening over reading—or simply spends a lot of time on the road—the book now has another way to reach them.
Adding the Preface
While adding the two audiobook CTAs, I also rearranged the book’s landing page and added an MP3 player featuring the Preface from the audiobook.
I understand that many people visiting the site for the first time may be wondering: What exactly is MESLO? What is this book about? And why should I read—or listen to—it?
The Preface helps answer those questions.
Rather than asking someone to buy the book before they know what they’re getting into, visitors can now listen to the Preface directly from the website and hear the opening of the audiobook in my own voice.
It’s a free preview. Try it out.
What’s Next
With the audiobook now available on Spotify and Audible, next up is Apple Books and other audiobook platforms.
I’m especially looking forward to getting the audiobook in front of more contractors, entrepreneurs, and business owners nationally—and meeting them where they are.
The Principles of MESLO grew out of practical experience in estimating, government contracting, entrepreneurship, and building the operating systems behind a business.
Making the audiobook available on Spotify and Audible is another step toward meeting readers—ahem, listeners—where they are.
More to follow.
